The watercolour on the left by Arthur Ellis, which is on display in the Museum, shows the Grecians’ Arch in Newgate Street, London. In the background are two Wren spires which are still there today, namely those of Christ Church and of St Paul’s. The central archway was brought to Horsham when the London School closed in 1902, and today forms the outer halves of the two central archways which lead into the main quadrangle.
